\nPersoanele interesate pot trimite o scrisoare de inten\u0163ie, care trebuie s\u0103 includ\u0103 obligatoriu titlul \u015fi un rezumat al lucr\u0103rii propuse p\u00e2n\u0103 la data de 20.03.2012. Titlul \u015fi rezumatul trebuie elaborate \u00een limba englez\u0103. Un comitet \u015ftiin\u0163ific de specialitate [peer-review] va selecta propunerile de lucr\u0103ri transmise p\u00e2n\u0103 la data de 28.03.2012. Lucr\u0103rile trebuie finalizate p\u00e2n\u0103 la data de 20 iunie 2012.
\nLucr\u0103rile se vor circumscrie temei \u201eRolul judec\u0103torului na\u0163ional \u00een interpretarea \u015fi aplicarea dreptului Uniunii Europene\u201d<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Cre\u015fterea num\u0103rului de trimiteri preliminare din Rom\u00e2nia, \u00een particular, dar \u015fi recurgerea constant\u0103 la mecanismul trimiterii preliminare (art. 267 TFUE) de c\u0103tre instan\u0163e judec\u0103tore\u015fti din statele membre fac din Curtea de Justi\u0163ie cea mai important\u0103 surs\u0103 vie a dreptului UE. Cu toate acestea, principii importante ale dreptului UE constituie pentru instan\u0163a na\u0163ional\u0103 criterii \u015fi surse pentru interpretarea \u015fi aplicarea dreptului UE. Lucr\u0103rile alese vor trebui s\u0103 abordeze aspecte de ordin teoretic \u015fi practic ale procedurii pentru pronun\u0163area unei hot\u0103r\u00e2ri preliminare, at\u00e2t din perspectiv\u0103 na\u0163ional\u0103, c\u00e2t \u015fi unional\u0103.<\/p>\n

Working Papers CELS 2011-2012<\/p>\n

The Center for European Legal Studies (of the Legal Studies Institute of the Romanian Academy) is pleased to announce a fresh call for papers.<\/p>\n

Any interested person may send a letter of intent (in Romanian or English), which has to comprise the title and a summary of the proposed papers, until 20 March 2012. The title and summary must be drafted also in English (for the contributions that will be written in Romanian). Until 28 March 2012, a (peer-review) committee will select the proposed works. The final works shall be submitted until 20 June 2012.<\/p>\n

The subject-matter of the papers will concern the \u201cRole of the national courts in interpretation and application of European Union law<\/strong>\u201d.<\/p>\n

The rise in numbers of preliminary references coming from Romania, but also the constant use of the system of preliminary references (Article 267 TFEU) by courts and tribunals of Member States make the Court of Justice the most important source for EU law. Nonetheless, fundamental principles of EU law provide the courts and tribunals of Members States with criteria and sources for interpretation and application of EU law. The selected papers will have to approach both theoretical and practical issues of the preliminary rulings procedure, from a national and Union perspective.<\/p>\n
